A violinist from the Royal Academy in London and a cellist from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, together with their pianists, share the honours in this year's Young Artists Platform Monday Platform. Jessica Zhu is a Chinese-American pianist from Houston, Texas who aged 20 had already won a host of important prizes in America before moving to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Earlier this year, she won first prize at the Hasting International Piano Competition.

Jonathan McGovern was awarded the Gold Medal and First Prize in the 58th ROSL Annual Music Competition in 2010. He is joined by Timothy End who won the ROSL Accompanist Prize in the same year.
The Castalian Quartet (formally the Fields Quartet) won the Elias Fawcett Award in the 2011 ROSL Annual Music Competition.
